Ukraine is seeking the transfer of F-16 fighters from Western countries. However, none of the leaders of the EU countries at the moment has committed to transferring modern Western fighters to Ukraine.
“European leaders have made it clear to Volodymyr Zelensky that they are ready to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine, but so far no one has committed to transfer fighter jets,” Bloomberg notes, citing an unnamed EU official.
Before returning from Brussels to Ukraine, Zelenskiy held a series of brief meetings with European leaders. They took about 30 minutes, TASS reports .
