The decision of the Court of Appeal of Milan, regarding the request of the Belgian authorities for the extradition of Antonio Pantzeri’s tax technician, Monica Rossana Bellini, to Brussels was postponed until March 9 .
The reason for this new postponement is that the Brussels prosecutor’s office has not yet sent Milan clarifications regarding Bellini’s possible involvement in money laundering.
At the same time, the tax accountant’s defense attorneys requested that her house arrest be lifted “so that she can resume work”. The Court of Appeal of Milan is expected to take the relevant decision within the next few days.
