Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Kazakhstan and expressed sympathy and support for the fraternal people in connection with the catastrophic consequences of a strong earthquake in the southeast of the country. He also said that Kazakhstan would provide comprehensive assistance to Turkey.
The President left an entry in the book of condolences.
“Deeply shocked by the news of numerous human casualties as a result of the devastating earthquake in Turkey. On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to the entire fraternal Turkish people,” the Head of State wrote.
