MP: BJP MLA Gauri Shankar Bisen Caught on Camera Touching Girls ‘Inappropriately’, Draws Attack from Congress & AAP

BJP MLA, former minister and chairman of the Backward Classes Commission, Gauri Shankar Bisen was allegedly spotted touching minor girls inappropriately at an event.

The incident was caught on camera and was shared by MP Congress on Twitter. The clip is now going viral on social media.

In the video, the MLA can be seen posing with the minor girls, apparently touching their chest and arms for a photograph.

The Opposition party claimed the alleged incident took place at a programme in Balaghat district.

Madhya Pradesh Congress tweeted “BJP MLA, former minister and chairman of the Backward Classes Commission Gauri Shankar Bisen is doing a shameful act with the girls. “Save daughter from BJP leaders”.

Commenting on the post, Mukesh Gupta, state coordinator of Mumbai Congress Sevadal said that “These girls should be counselled by a female doctor, whose report should be made public. Such an act with girls is shameful, shame on BJP leaders, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, have some shame, see what your party leaders are doing?

Sharing the video, AAP MLA Naresh Balyan also lashed out hard at the BJP, saying: “This is BJP MLA Gaurishankar Bisen. See how in front of thousands of people he is doing such vile acts with little girls. I had already said that if these people are voted like this, then these people will pick up daughters in broad daylight. They get so much courage from people like Brijbhushan.”

BJP warns of legal action

Strongly refuting the Congress allegation of inappropriate behaviour by the former minister, the BJP castigated the Opposition party for tweeting the video featuring minor girls and warned of legal action.

“These girls are of his granddaughter’s age and Bisen is publicly meeting them with affection,” state BJP spokesman Narendra Singh Saluja said.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and government spokesperson Narottam Mishra, too, hit out at the Congress for its “despicable mentality”.

“It reflects the despicable mentality of the Congress. Just because of dirty politics, they have released a video that actually reflects his (Bisen) affection towards girls. It is shameful the way Congress has shown the video. We are legally examining the issue, especially of disclosing the identity of girls,” Mishra told reporters.
