An Israeli missile attack hit the Aleppo International Airport in northern Syria on Wednesday, inflicting damage on the facility, the pro-government Sham FM reported.
The attack is the fourth this month to hit the airport.
Earlier on the day, an Israeli missile attacked on a Syrian military installation in the southern province of Daraa, killing eight Syrian soldiers and injuring seven others.
This comes amid growing tension in the region against the backdrop of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Since Oct. 7, when the Israeli campaign against Gaza started, Israel attacked the Aleppo airport four times and the Damascus airport twice.
Aleppo airport was previously hit on Oct. 12, 14, and 22, and was due to open after repairs following the last strike.
Syria has vehemently condemned the Israeli attacks.
